Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 September 2026
This policy explains how MOJO VIBES PTY LTD (SOS CAFE & BAR) handles personal information when you use this website, place an order, or contact us. It is written for our customers in Australia and follows the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect
- Identity and contact details you give us: name, email, phone, and anything you write in a message or order note.
- Order details: items, quantities, pickup or dine-in, the time you chose, and the total.
- Billing details you type for a card payment: street, suburb, state, postcode and country. These are sent to PayPal with the payment.
- A record that you agreed to these policies and, for alcohol, that you confirmed you are 18 or over.
- Technical details such as the IP address used to limit spam on the contact form.
We do not ask for a card security code, and this website does not store your card number or expiry date. Card number and expiry are PayPal Hosted Fields. That data goes to PayPal inside a PayPal frame, not to our server.
Why we collect it
- To take, prepare and hand over your order, and to contact you if something changes.
- To answer bookings, function enquiries and other messages.
- To take payment through PayPal and keep a tax invoice.
- To refuse service of alcohol to anyone under 18, as required of a licensed venue.
- To keep this site reliable and to deal with complaints, refunds and legal claims.
If you do not give us the details an order needs, we cannot complete it. Contact-form messages are optional.
Who we share it with
We share what is needed with PayPal to create and capture the payment. PayPal handles that information under its own privacy statement. Staff of MOJO VIBES PTY LTD can see orders and messages on the kitchen board.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it if the law requires, for example to a regulator, a court, or Victoria Police in connection with liquor licensing.
PayPal may process payment data outside Australia, including in the United States. If you pay with PayPal, you agree to that overseas handling for the payment. Our own order file is stored on the server that hosts this website. For a successful card payment we also keep a SQL record of the PayPal result: amount, capture id, card brand, last four digits, processor checks, 3-D Secure result, and any risk score or risk assessment PayPal sends back. We do not store the card number.
Storage on your device
The cart is kept in your browser’s local storage under the key sos-cafe-cart so it is still there if you move between pages. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear the cart by emptying it, or by clearing site data in your browser.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for at least as long as tax law requires, which is generally five years. Contact messages are kept so we can deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete a message earlier if we do not need it for an order, a booking, or a legal obligation.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it. Email admin@soscafeandbar.au. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. The version on this page is the one that applies.
